Hello From Isanti

Katie
June 21, 2002

I don't know about you, but when I got home on the 13th, I felt really lost without something to read. As I write this, it is pouring rain and thundering and there is much lightning, but that makes me happy because I don't have to go into work today! It's bad to have little kids in a pool when there is lightning. :) Actually, work has been going pretty well. I haven't had to jump in after anyone yet, which is good since the water is super cold from all the rain we've had. I guess the most exciting thing in my life right now is the road construction a block from my house. (We don't really have blocks out here in the country, but for you city people, that's about how far away the mess is.) I have to take a detour and drive about 4 miles out of my way and cut back on a little back road to get to my house. Kinda obnoxious if you ask me. In other exciting road work news, I may not live on a gravel road anymore by the end of this summer ... that's right, they're going to pave Tamarack St.! I guess that's about it. Life is good, but not exactly exciting in Isanti.
